We are looking for a BENCHMARKING ENGINEER (m/d/w) with experience in the automotive field for our prestigious client in the automotive field in Ingolstadt, Germany, to perform preparation of Teardown Highlights Reports for OEM competitor vehicles.

Main activities:
Preliminary investigations
Support during dismantling activities (observational, non-operational)
Expert discussions
System workshops
Property and part-by-part discussions
Sharing tables
Final discussion and reporting

Requirements:
Automotive benchmarking and teardown report experience
Component- and system-level design and development experience
Cost, weight, manufacturing, and innovation analysis
Vehicle systems covered: complete vehicle, powertrain (ICE / e-motor / transmission), HV systems (battery, inverter, DC/DC, charger), chassis, body in white, E/E architecture
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
Cost assessment
Property-level assessment
Production of accurate, well-structured, error-free technical reports
Ability to perform in-depth analysis of “technical highlights”
