Role Description:  
As our AI Solutions Engineer, you own the end-to-end delivery of AI use cases, from scoping and solution design to architecture, integration and rollout. You drive projects independently, translate between business stakeholders and technical partners, and make sure AI solutions actually land in operations. You bring solid software engineering judgment: you understand architectures, don’t mind getting your hands dirty with writing your own code, evaluate technical trade-offs and challenge vendors on equal footing.

Responsibilities: 
Independently drive AI projects from PoC to productive deployment: scoping, planning, delivery
Work at the new frontier of AI-aided development inside critical infrastructure
Design and review solution architectures together with internal IT and external partners
Own the development, deployment and integration of AI solutions into existing EEW systems and operations
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and steer development partners against them
Evaluate technical options, vendors and tools: make build-vs-buy recommendations
Ensure quality, security and operability of delivered solutions (testing, handover, documentation)

Ideal Profile:
3+ years in technical project or product management, solution engineering, or software development roles
Solid software engineering background: you understand architectures, APIs, cloud/data infrastructure and the software development lifecycle
Proven track record of independently delivering technical projects from concept to production
Experience steering external development partners and managing technical vendors
Knowledge of AI/ML solutions
Structured, hands-on and self-directed working style
Strong communication skills, comfortable bridging business and engineering
No fixed tech stack, but ideally experience with Python, JavaScript, relational databases
German Native Speaker and fluent in English
Plus: experience with OT (Operations Technology) / industrial control systems (SCADA, PLC, MES) or AI projects in industrial / plant environments
Plus: experience with data platform/data lake architectures
