Daira Sabz Consulting & Engineering Group invites qualified environmental professionals from different countries to join its international network of experts for upcoming consultancy, engineering, research, and project implementation assignments.
Daira Sabz operates through its entities in Germany and Afghanistan and provides environmental, engineering, sustainability, and project management services for national and international projects. The Group maintains ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management certifications covering national and international operations.

Priority Areas of Expertise
We are particularly interested in experts with demonstrated experience in:
• Municipal and industrial wastewater treatment
• Water and wastewater engineering design
• Heavy-metal and hazardous-pollutant removal
• Advanced treatment and nanomaterial-based technologies
• Sludge treatment, disposal, and resource recovery
• Water reuse, circular economy, and resource efficiency
• Nature-based and low-cost treatment systems
• Water-quality monitoring, sampling, and laboratory analysis
• Pollution prevention and cleaner-production systems
• Wastewater-treatment operation, maintenance, and performance optimisation
• Environmental permitting and regulatory compliance
• Climate-resilient water and sanitation infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should normally have:
• A master’s degree or PhD in environmental engineering, civil engineering, water resources, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field
• At least seven years of relevant professional experience; senior experts with more than ten years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply
• Evidence of completed wastewater, water-quality, industrial-pollution, or environmental-management assignments
• Experience with international standards, donor safeguards, or regulatory frameworks
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Professional proficiency in English
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Experience in fragile, emerging, or developing-country contexts will be considered an advantage.

Engagement Arrangement
Selected experts may be engaged on a:
• Project-based consultancy basis
• Short-term or long-term technical assignment
• Remote, hybrid, or field-based arrangement
• Joint proposal, research, training, design, review, or implementation assignment
International experts, consulting partners, university researchers, laboratory specialists, and engineering professionals are encouraged to apply.
