Job Summary:
The Turnover HVAC Engineer is responsible for overseeing that HVAC systems are installed, inspected, and tested in accordance with project specifications, codes, and quality requirements. The Engineer ensures quality oversight, documentation control, and structured turnover of HVAC systems from construction to commissioning.Key Responsibilities:
• Lead audits, inspections, and surveillance.

• Provide oversight of ductwork, insulation, and equipment installations.

• Verify system balancing, pressure testing, and functional performance.

• Lead HVAC system walkdowns and manage punch items.

• Oversee     documentation and ensure complete TOPs.

• Support commissioning and structured handover.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in HVAC system turnover, commissioning, and start-up activities on industrial, commercial, or construction projects.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, ducting, ventilation, pressurization, and control systems.

• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and vendor documentation.

• Knowledge of testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB), and performance verification procedures.

• Familiarity with turnover packages, system handover documentation, and quality assurance processes.

• Ability to coordinate with construction, commissioning, operations, and quality teams to ensure smooth system handover.
