For our location in Hamburg or Bremen (hybrid working model) we are looking for a

Design Engineer Shipbuilding / Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

The main tasks are:

Creation and maintenance of 3D models and 2D drawings

Design of assemblies, foundations, deck equipment, hull components, and technical spaces

Preparation and maintenance of bills of materials (BOMs), piping lists, and technical documentation

Development of general arrangements and detailed designs

Creation of CAM data, isometric drawings, and P&ID documentation

Development of integration, installation, lifting, and transport concepts

Coordination of technical matters with customers, suppliers, and internal departments

Preparation of design review reports and punch lists (open items lists)

Preparation of as-built documentation and handover documentation

Support during factory acceptance tests and commissioning

Voraussetzungen

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a comparable field

Experience in mechanical design and system integration

Knowledge of Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or comparable CAD/PLM systems

Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (DIN, ISO, EN)

Experience with technical specifications and change management

Structured and self-reliant working approach

Fluent English (business level)

German language skills are an advantage
